Every piece begins with a love of nature, and a curiosity about the stories and creatures that might be hiding just beyond the branches.
If you stumble upon my market stall, you'll know you've found the right place. A mossy forest floor dotted with mushrooms, weathered tree stumps, and the swirly notes of a lilting violin echoes between the tree trunks, and, if you happen to spot a pair of elf ears, you've found the artist.
Meet the artist
Lead game artist by day and elf adventurer by night, Evelina Foxberg grew up surrounded by fantasy, horror, and science fiction, and has always been drawn to the beauty of nature and the folklore woven through it.
Working from Stockholm, Sweden, she creates atmospheric fantasy illustrations in mixed media, combining watercolour, gouache, acrylic, and digital painting to bring each artwork to life.
By her side is Amy, her faithful Great Dane familiar, who makes sure each adventure is unexpected, and that no rock is left unexplored.
